The signals from the Yachta Wind Sensor can also be used to enable data transmission to the Clipper Wind remote display. To do this, the TX transmit signal of the NMEA 0183 telegrams must be converted to a 12V voltage so that it can be recognized by the Clipper Wind remote display. The circuit consists of a transistor and two resistors and can be housed in the Yachta Wind Sensor housing.

This enables the Clipper Wind secondary display to display the wind data from the Yachta wind sensor. Here is a small Video in which the result is shown.
NMEA0183 telegrams from a Raspberry Pi can also be integrated into AvNav or SignalK in the same way. In this case, a USB-to-serial converter is simply connected in front of the adapter circuit.
