The remote control transmits on 433 MHz and converts the received signals into the NMEA2000 network. In this way, the settings for the Raymarine autopilot can be made very conveniently. The remote control consists of two parts. One from the hand-held control unit and the other from a QIACHIP RX480E \/ TX118SA radio receiver. The housing of the remote control is made of 3D printed parts. The same goes for the rubberized buttons. The front and back were lasered out of Plexiglas plates. An Arduino STM32F103 decodes the received radio signals and then feeds them into the NMEA2000 network.
