Chart packages are also available for download, here.<br \/>\nA wide variety of chart styles and applications have been developed around this idea. Especially  the <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.grade.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Inland Navigator<\/a> will find all necessary information about bridge heights, lock times and even automated routing throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<p>To complete the maps, information on water depth is essential: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opendem.info\/bathymetrysearcher.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">openDEM<\/a> shows in which sea areas free bathymetry data is available.<\/p>\n<p>The project lives from many volunteers who continuously update data!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The database of the OpenStreetMap project contains a lot of geospatial information that is quite useful for planning a boat trip.
